Mens Soccer- The Chargers had an extended break this week, after the game scheduled for 10/8 at Goldey Beacom College was postponed due to the rain. They currently stand at 10-1 overall and 5-0 in the CACC. They are currently ranked 19th in the nation and third in the region. This week Dominican will face College of St. Rose in an independent contest on 10/11 and will host CACC rival Caldwell College on 10/15 at noon.
Womens Soccer- The Lady Chargers post a 0-1 record this week, with a rainout against Goldey Beacom College on 10/8. The team now stands at 5-7-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the CACC. Dominican lost a tough CACC game to New Jersey Institute of Technology on 10/5, 0-1. This week the Lady Chargers will host Merrimack College on 10/10 and will travel to Georgian Court University on 10/12 in a CACC match up.
Womens Volleyball- The womens volleyball team posted a 1-1 record this week, with a tri-match at St. Anselm College being postponed due to a leak in the gym. The Lady Chargers now stand at 6-10 overall and 5-8 in the CACC. The team rebounded from a loss earlier in the season to upend Holy Family University, 3-2 on 10/4. Freshman Kinikia Collier led all attackers with 20 kills and setter Megan Earl had 45 assists in the win. On 10/6, the team hosted University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and were handed a 1-3 loss. Collier led the team with 12 kills and 24 digs, while Earl had 10 kills and 34 assists. This week the Lady Chargers will host Georgian Court University on 10/12 and will take a short road trip to Nyack College for a tri-match on 10/15.
Mens Golf- On 10/7, the golf team traveled to the College of St. Rose and finished in fourth place behind St. Rose, UMass Lowell, and Pace. Sophomore Brian Mackey and Tony Viola finished in a three-way tie for fifth place for the Chargers.
Mens Cross Country- The mens cross country team lost a dual meet against Concordia College on 10/4, 33-45. Sophomore Sean Brown finished in fourth place for the Chargers, while teammate Alex OConnell came in fifth. Dominican will host an invitational meet on 10/10.
