Mens Soccer-The Chargers extended their winning streak to fifteen games, after posting a 2-0 record this week. The team now stands at 16-1 overall and 8-0 in the CACC. On 10/24, DC defeated LeMoyne College, 3-2 in overtime. Senior Kyle Clancy tabbed the game winning goal three minutes into the overtime period. He also scored DCs first goal of the game, while his brother Ryan Clancy netted the game-tying goal. Brent Gaylord picked up an assist in the game. On 10/27, the team traveled to Goldey Beacom College to wrap up CACC play and came away with a 4-1 victory. The elder Clancy came up big again with two goals. Joe Ruesgan added a goal and assist, while Slavisa Prcic netted a goal. Sophomore Jhonny Artega contributed an assist in the win. After going a perfect 8-0 in CACC play, the Chargers earned the top spot in the CACC Tournament. DC will get a bye in the quarter-final round and will play in the semis on 11/3 at Felician College. Game time is 6pm.

Womens Soccer-The Lady Chargers post a 1-1 record this week. The team now stands at 6-10-2 overall and 5-4-2 in the CACC. On 10/24, the Lady Chargers defeated Georgian Court University, 4-1. Goals were netted by Marie LaMaida, Katrina VanAlstyne, Jen Ditzig and Michelle Cusano. VanAlstyne and Shannon Harding (2) were credited with assists. On 10/28, DC fell to Pace University, 0-1. Keeper Sara Cordaro had two saves. The Lady Chargers have been seeded fourth in the CACC Tournament and will host the fifth seeded Wilmington College Wildcats today at 2pm in a quarter-final showdown. The semis will take place on 11/3 and the final on 11/5 to be played at Felician College.

Womens Volleyball- The womens volleyball team went 1-0 this week after defeating CACC foe, Nyack College, 3-1 on October 25, highlighting Senior Night at the Hennessy Center. Freshman Kinikia Collier had a career high 20 kills, while senior setter Megan Earl had 43 assists. Freshman Theresa Hanneman added a career high 11 kills in the victory. Earl and Shelley Dall were honored before the game in a ceremony, celebrating their careers at DC and Earl being named the All-Time Assist Leader. This week, the Lady Chargers take on Philadelphia University on 11/3 in Philadelphia and travel to Bloomfield College on 11/5 for a tri-match to wrap up the season. The team currently stands at 7-16 overall and 6-13 in conference play.
