DOMINICAN COLLEGE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION TO HOST MEMORIAL BASKETBALL GAMES

Blauvelt, NY (1/7/08) On January 26, Dominican College Alumni and friends will gather to honor the memory of two outstanding student athletes from the College's past, Bobby Mulligan and Sue Heller. 

Each year, the Dominican College family gathers to celebrate the lives and contributions of these athletes. Alumni are encouraged to join in the fun of an alumni basketball game while friends and community members are encouraged to cheer players on from the bleachers. Everyone is invited stay for the afternoon as a Lady Chargers' game is dedicated to the memory of Sue Heller and a Chargers' game is dedicated to the memory of Bobby Mulligan.

During the Sue Heller Memorial Game, which begins at 1:00 pm, an exceptional Lady Charger will be awarded a grant from the Sue Heller Memorial Fund. During the Bobby Mulligan Memorial Game, which begins at 3:00 pm, and exceptional male Charger will be awarded a grant from the Bobby Mulligan Memorial Fund. Students may use the grants toward any school-related expense.
