Coach Ballou enters his fourth year as head coach of the Domincan College men's lacrosse program.

A 2002 graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo, Ballou earned his bachelor's degree in elementary and special education.  He was a member of the men's lacrosse team for four years and was named captain in his junior and senior seasons.  Among being a three-time All SUNYAC selection, he led a defense that was ranked 13th in the nation in 2002.  He also helped lead Geneseo to their first Division III top twenty ranking.  Ballou started every game in his collegiate career and earned both the Most Improved Player and Most Valuable Player Awards in 2002.  He was selected as an Inside Lacrosse Pre-Season All-American before his senior year.  

After graduation, Ballou returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach.  In his three years as an assistant, the team went to the SUNYAC final every year and won the championship in 2003.  The team made two appearances in the ECAC Tournament, capturing the title in 2003 and participating in the 2005 tournament.  In 2004, Geneseo advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. 

Coach Ballou earned his master's degree in advanced elementary teaching in 2005 and currently works at St. Dominic's School.
