Coach Mackey begins his first year as Men's Golf Head Coach after being the Assistant Coach last year. He has been associated with the game of golf for over thirty five years.
Mackey is a graduate of Albertus Magnus High School, Rockland Community College and attended Mercy College. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and is a retired Senior Investigator with New York State Police.
Mackey's daughter, Lisa, is a 2003 graduate of Dominican College and is currently working in the field of forensic psychology after receiving her master's from John Jay College in 2005.
Coach Mackey resides in Chestnut Ridge, New
York, with his wife Sandra, a speech and language pathologist, and
his son Brian.
