Chargers Baseball Upends Dowling College, 8-5

Boca Raton, FL (3/9/07) The Dominican College baseball team improved to 2-4 on the season with an 8-5 victory over Dowling College this afternoon at Lynn University.

Boca Raton, FL (3/9/07) The Dominican College baseball team improved to  2-4 on the season with an 8-5 victory over Dowling College this afternoon at Lynn University.

Sophomore shortstop Jose Made (Binghamton, NY) went 3-5 in the game with two RBIs, while DH Joe DiMicelli (Staten Island, NY) went 2-2 with an RBI in the win.  Freshman Willie Mann (Patterson, NY) collected a pair of hits in the game.

Charger starter Matt Dilgen (Staten Island, NY) went five innings, allowing seven hits.  Brett Meservey (Catskill, NY) earned the win in three innings pitched, while Daniel Bucci (Dobbs Ferry, NY) picked up his first save of the season.
