Baseball Beats St. Thomas Aquinas College, 14-13
Blauvelt, NY (4/20/07) The Dominican College baseball team defeated host St. Thomas Aquinas College, 14-13 this afternoon at Veteran's Memorial Park in a non-conference game.
Jose Escalera (Bronx, NY) went 4-5 in the game with 4 RBIs and one run scored. Jose Made (Binghamton, NY) and Tommy Maloney (Massapequa Park, NY) each had two hits in the win.
Charger starter Brendan Bohan (Rutherford, NJ) got the win.
Dominican had 14-5 lead going into the bottom of the eighth when
the Spartans scored five runs to cut the lead to 14-10 and managed
to score three runs in the ninth for the final 14-13 final.
