Blauvelt, NY (5/31/07) Dominican College baseball player, Jose Made, has been named to the 2007 NCBWA Northeast All-Region First Team as was announced yesterday afternoon.

Blauvelt, NY (5/31/07) Dominican College baseball player, Jose Made, has been named to the 2007 NCBWA Northeast All-Region First Team as was announced yesterday afternoon.
Made, a sophomore shortstop from Binghamton, NY,
started 36 of 38 games this season for the Chargers. He led
the team with a .338 batting average, 49 hits, 38 RBIs and 10
doubles. He was tied for first on the team with three triples
and was tied for the lead in home runs with four on the year.
He was a perfect 11-11 in stolen bases and finished the year with a
.931 fielding percentage. Made was 22nd in
the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in batting
average and tied for first in triples.
Dominican finished the season with a 19-19 overall record and a CACC record of 9-7. The team earned a berth in the CACC Tournament and was eliminated in the semi-finals by runner up Caldwell College.
