Head Coach Rick Giannetti is entering
is 21st year at the helm of the Charger baseball program. In
his twenty years at Dominican he has amassed a record of 570-340
and his overall record stands at 615-389. He has guided Dominican
to 14 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships,
10 regional tournament appearances, 1 Eastern College Athletic
Conference (ECAC) Championship and 2 NAIA World Series
Appearances. His teams have qualified for post
season play every year except one.
Giannetti spent his collegiate career at Ramapo
College of New Jersey where he was a member of the baseball team
for four years. As a pitcher, he never lost a game in college and
for three of those years had a single digit statistic for walks
allowed. The Roadrunners also went to three regional tournaments in
his tenure there. He graduated in 1982 with a double major B.S. in
psychology and business.
His collegiate coaching career started at his alma mater joining
the team as an assistant coach in 1983 and helped guide the
Roadrunners to a National Championship in 1984. Giannetti then took
over the reigns in 1988 and spent two years as the head coach. In
that time, he made two conference tournament appearances, won a
conference championship in 1988 and made a regional tournament
appearance.
Coach Giannetti has been awarded the CACC Coach
of the Year award 9 times in his tenure, Regional Coach of the Year
Award 5 times and was the 2009 Eastern College Athletic Conference
(ECAC) Coach of the Year. He has also been a finalist for the
National Coach of the Year Award 4 times. He has coached 49
All-American players and 119 All-Conference Players and has had 19
players sign professional contracts, with two players) currently in
the Chicago Cubs minor league system & one with the Boston Red
Sox.
He currently resides in New City, NY with his wife, Vicki, and
their three children, A.J., Vincent and Adriana.

Coach Duesler enters his fourth year on the Charger staff after spending four years as a catcher and designated hitter for the team.
During his four years as a player, Duesler hit .351 as a freshman, .322 as a sophomore, .317 as a junior and .367 in his senior season. He graduated DC with 133 hits, 98 RBIs and 24 doubles. He was named the 2005 Most Valuable Player of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament.
A 2006 graduate of Dominican College, he earned a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training.
Coach Duesler currently resides in New City,
NY.
Coach Fratello returns to the Charger staff for the 2010 season.
After a distinguished high school and college
playing career as a catcher at North Rockland High School and
Rockland Community College, He has been coaching baseball at
the college level for the past 13 years at Nyack College
and Dominican College. While at Nyack, Phil helped guide
Nyack College to their only conference championship in 2004.
Phil has been the Hitting Coach at Dominican College from 2005-2007
& again in 2010. He is widely recognized as one of the premier
Hitting & Catching instructors in the entire Tri-State area.
Coach Mondesir enters his first year on the Charger staff.
Mondesir spent three seasons as a member of the Charger baseball team. He was the closer for DC on the 1999 World Series Team, was named to the All-CACC and All-Region Team in 2002 and was an Honorable Mention All-American selection for the NAIA in 2002. In his senior season he compiled a 6-2 record with an 5.49 ERA and 32 strikeouts.
After his senior season, Mondesir was drafted in the 36th round (1.092 overall pick) by the St. Louis Cardinals. He spent three seasons (2003-2005) within the Cardinals organization, making it as high as the High-A (Advance-A) level of the Florida State League.
Mondesir then went on to spend two seasons with the New Jersey Jackals (2005-2006). During the 2006 season he suffered a shoulder injury requiring surgery which forced him to miss the 2007 season. He also spent time in the Colombian Winter League (2005-2006), playing for the Sincelejo Toros and Cartejena Tigres and helped win a championship for Cartejena. He was later picked up as a free agent in June 2008 by the Edinburg Coyotes of the United League.
Since 2003-2008 Mondesir was been a pitching instructor for Premiere Baseball Academies in Northern, NJ. He was named the Head Pitching Coach at Jersey City University and spent the Fall 2006-2008 seasons with the team and helped transform their pitching staff.
A 2004 graduate of DC, Mondesir earned a
bachelor's degree in Marketing.
