2008-09 Dominican College Men's Golf Season Preview

 

The Dominican College men's golf team enters the new season prepared to challenge for the CACC Championship and selection to the NCAA Division II Super Regional Tournament. The team has missed the Super Regionals by one spot the last two years.

 

The team will be lead by Team Captain, Senior AJ Lee, a three time All- Conference selection. The team also returns junior Brian Kivlehan, and sophomore Thomas Lalonde, a 2008 selection to the CACC All-Conference Team and runner-up for CACC Rookie of the Year honors.

 

Complementing the present team and forming the nucleus of the future team are five talented freshman players. Corey Fitzgerald, Braeden May, John Murphy III, James Reppert Jr., and Bryan Romagnoli.

 

Coach Wayne Mackey, entering his second year as head coach and the 2008 CACC Coach of the Year, and first year Assistant Coach Brian Mackey, the 2008 East/Northeast Regional Champion, NCAA Division II Championship competitor, and a 2008 All-American selection, will guide the team through this promising season.
