LEE EARNS ALL-CACC HONORS AND TEAM  SHARES SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

New Haven, Conn. (4/20/17)  Dominican College's golfer, Leonard Lee, has been named to the 2017 All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Team as was announced today by Commissioner Dan Mara.  The Chargers, along with Felician University were awarded with the 2017 CACC Team Sportsmanship Award for demonstrating outstanding character and class throughout the season. 

Miguel Siercke of Wilmington University earned the Player of the Year honors, while Post University's Fredrik Rollve was named the Rookie of the Year.  WilmU head coach, Harry Jennings garnered the BSN Sports Coach of the Year honors.

Lee, a sophomore from Wyckoff, N.J., has had a great year for the Chargers.  He had the high finish of second at the 9th Annual Charger Challenge and the Le Moyne Fall Invitational. Lee finished third at the Philadelphia University Invite and the Saint Rose Fall Shoot Out.  So far this season he has compiled nine total top-10 finishes.

This is his first All-Conference accolades.

The all-conference honorees and major award winners will be recognized at the CACC Men's Golf Championship Banquet on Monday at Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, Del. Back Creek will be serving as the host for the 2017 CACC Golf Championship from Monday-Wednesday.
