WESCOTT LEADS LEADERBOARD AFTER ROUND ONE OF ST. THOMAS AQUINAS SPRING INVITE

Junior Hunter Wescott sits atop 63 golfers with a first round score of 68 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invite.

Berlin, Md. (4/7/18) Junior Hunter Wescott (Portland, Ore.) finished four shots under par at round one of the St. Thomas Aquinas Spring Invite yesterday and is currently in first place among the 63 golfers in the par 72 tournament being held at the Rum Pointe Golf Course.

As a team the Chargers finished with a first round score of 295 (+7) to hold the top spot among the 12 teams competiting in the tournament

Wescott finished round one play with a 68 score to sit atop the leaderboard.

Teammates Leonard Lee (Wyckoff, N.J.) and Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) are both tied for 12th place following the first round as they both shot a 74 (+2).

Freshman Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) who is competing as an individual posted a first round score of 76 (+4) to be tied for 21st place.

Junior Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) is tied for 39th place with a 79 (+7), while Lode Nolmans (Brussels, Belgium) is tied for 52nd place with a score of 83 (+11).
