TICKNER AND WESCOTT TAKE TOP TWO SPOTS AT ST. JOE'S SPRING SHOOTOUT

Bellport, N.Y. (4/7/19) Dominican College golfers, Bryce Tickner and Hunter Wescott finished first and second at the St. Joe's Spring Shootout held yesterday and today at the Bellport Country Club and hosted by St. Joseph's College.

The Chargers brought home the team titles as they had combined scores of 312 and 303 (+19) for a 615 total score.  Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) member, Felician University finished in second place with a team score of 633.

Tickner, a junior from Victoria, British Columbia, won the individual title with rounds of 76 and 74 for a 150 (+8) total score.

Wescott, a senior from Portland, Ore. finished two strokes behind the leader with a combined score of 152 (77, 75).

Junior Carlos Armas Stenner (Durango, Mexico) tied for sixth place with scores of 78 and 80 for a 158 finish, while Josh Farmer (Hollis, N.H.) tied for 11th place with rounds of 81 and 79 for a 160 total score.

Daniel Parker (Ocean City, Md.) finished with a combined score of 166 (91, 75) to tie for 19th place.
