Jackson Earns All-Conference Honors

Blauvelt, NY (2/26/07) Dominican College men’s basketball player senior Prince Jackson (Schenectady, NY) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team by a vote of the coaches this afternoon.

 Blauvelt, NY (2/26/07)          Dominican College men’s basketball player senior Prince Jackson (Schenectady, NY) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) First Team by a vote of the coaches this afternoon.
 

Jacksonis making his second appearance on the All-CACC First Team.
 

 Jacksonleads the Chargers in scoring with 17.6 ppg and is second in rebounds with 4.4 rpg.  He netted his 1,000th career point in only two years at Dominican.  He is currently ranked 6th in the CACC in scoring, 20th in rebounding, 12th in free throw percentage, 3rd in three-point field goal percentage and 13th in three-point field goals made..

The Chargers are the No. 8 seed and will face #1 Philadelphia University on Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at Philadelphia University.  Dominican is 13-14 overall and 10-10 in the CACC, while Philadelphia is 19-8 overall and 14-6 in conference play.
