CHARGERS MOVE UP TO SIXTH IN D2SIDA EAST REGION MEDIA POLL

Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/27/17) The Dominican College men's basketball team has moved up one spot this week in the D2SIDA East Region Media Poll as was announced today.

The Chargers made their first appearance in the poll last week in the seventh spot and this week have moved up to sixth.

Dominican is currently 4-0 on the season after defeating non-conference opponents: Stonehill College, Assumption College, The College of Saint Rose and Molloy College.

DC is one of two teams from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) in the rankings as Bloomfield College is third in the poll.

The top spot belongs to Southern New Hampshire University (6-0), followed by Le Moyne College (6-1), the University of Bridgeport (5-1), Bloomfield College (4-1) and St. Thomas Aquinas College (5-3) to round out the top five.

The Chargers open up CACC play this coming Wednesday with a road game at Post University and follow with a road trip to Bloomfield College on December 2nd.

The D2SIDA poll is administered and voted upon by Division II members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
