Blauvelt, NY (7/18/05) Dominican College mens soccer coach, John Campbell, has announced the Chargers 2005 schedule. This season, the Chargers will face several top teams, including Franklin-Pierce College and Le Moyne College.
Dominican finished 15-6-1 in 2004, winning the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season title and advanced to their second CACC Tournament Championship in two years. The Chargers ended their season with their first ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship.
The Chargers will open up the 2005 season by playing in the Southern New Hampshire University Tournament on August 26 and 27. They will face St. Anselm College on the 26th and Southern New Hampshire University on the 27. The team will hit the road again for three games against Le Moyne College, University of Bridgeport and Franklin-Pierce College on August 31, September 2 and September 4, respectively.
DC has their home and conference opener against, Bloomfield College, on September 10. The Chargers then travel to Molloy College for a non-conference game on September 13, but return home for two straight conference games against Felician College and Wilmington College on September 15 and September 17.
The top six teams in the regular season will earn a berth in the CACC Tournament.
