Chargers Soccer Ranked in NSCAA Division II Pre-Season Poll

Blauvelt, NY (8/17/06)  The Dominican College men's soccer team has been ranked 11th in the 2006 NSCAA Division II Pre-Season poll.

The Chargers finished the 2005 season with an 18-2 overall record and a perfect 8-0 record in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).  DC won their second consecutive Regular Season and CACC Tournament Titles and earned the program's first NCAA bid as they were the top seed in the New England Regional Tournament.  The team suffered a tough 0-1 loss to national runner up, Franklin Pierce College, in the North England Regional Final last season. 

National Champions Fort Lewis College garnished the top spot, followed by Franklin Pierce College.
