New Haven, CT - Ryan Clancy of Dominican College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 15. Sean Hordijenko of Holy Family University has earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

New Haven, CT - Ryan Clancy of Dominican College has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, Oct.. 15. Sean Hordijenko of Holy Family University has earned Rookie of the Week accolades.
Clancy, a junior forward from Pine Bush, NY,
recorded seven points last week on two goals and three assists. He
notched the game-winning goal in a 4-3, double overtime win over
Nyack on Thursday. He had two goals and two assists in the game.
Furthermore, he dished out one assist against Le Moyne in a 2-2
tie.
Hordijenko, a freshman from Philadelphia, PA, had a goal and three assists for the week. He tallied one goal and two assists in a 4-2 win over Mercy and he dished out one assist in a victory over California (PA).

Maurice Johnson, Post (Jr., F, Bronx, NY) - Recorded five total points on two goals and one assist in three games.
Ed Szambelak, Holy Family (Jr., MF, 5-8, 160, Philadelphia, PA/Northeast Catholic) - Had two goals and one assist in Holy Family's 5-2 win over California (PA).
CACC Team Notes
Felician - All three of Felician's victories this season have come by 1-0 scores. Saturday's win over Goldey-Beacom kept the Golden Falcons' CACC playoff hopes alive; Felician has never missed the tournament since joining the league in 1999. Senior M Eric Moore's only goal of 2005 was a game-winner, and his first goal this season was Saturday's GWG vs. GBC.
Caldwell - Junior defender Jan Marco Jiras returned to the starting lineup this week after missing eight games with a shoulder injury. He scored the game-winning goal in the Cougars' 5-0 win over Bloomfield on Oct. 12. Caldwell hosts second-ranked Dowling College on Friday, Oct. 20, marking the second time this season the Cougars have faced the nation's No. 2 team. Franklin Pierce was ranked second when the two teams met on Aug. 31 in Rindge, NH, with the Cougars losing 1-0.
