Blauvelt, NY (10/22/06) The Dominican College men’s soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with #1 Dowling College this afternoon at the DC Soccer Field.

Blauvelt, NY (10/22/06)        The Dominican College men's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie with #1 Dowling College this afternoon at the DC Soccer Field.

Charger keeper Robert Kelly (Kearny, NJ) had two saves, while Golden Lion keeper William Grady (Centereach, NY) also had two saves in the tie.

Dowling out shot the Chargers 12-5 in what was a physical game with 32 fouls called and four yellow cards issued.  The game was called at 71:56 by officials, making it a regulation length game ending in a 0-0 tie.

The Chargers are back in action on Thursday, October 26th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament.  The CACC Regular Season Champion, Chargers, will play in the semi-finals at 1pm at Tryon Field in Rutherford, NJ.
