CHARGERS SOCCER RANKED IN NCAA PRE-SEASON POLL

Blauvelt, NY (8/17/07) The Dominican College men's soccer team has been ranked 24th in the NSCAA/Adidas NCAA Pre-Season men's soccer rankings which was released earlier this week.

Blauvelt, NY (8/17/07)  The Dominican College men's soccer team has been ranked 24th in the NSCAA/Adidas Pre-Season men's soccer rankings which was released earlier this week.

The Chargers, who finished last season with a 12-4-3/8-0-0 (Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) record and their third consecutive CACC Regular Season and Tournament Championships, made their second straight appearance at the NCAA Regionals before losing to Southern Connecticut State University, who garnished the 6th spot in the poll.  

Defending National Division II Champions, Dowling College, received the top spot, while Fort Lewis College, the University of West Florida, Lenoir-Rhyne College and Lincoln Memorial University rounded out the top five.
