Philadelphia, PA (10/4/08)  The visiting Dominican College Chargers men's soccer team defeated Chestnut Hill College, 4-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) men's soccer action this afternoon.

The Chargers got on the board in the 23rd minute of action as junior Joe Wright (Stratford-Upon-Avon, England) netted a goal off the corner kick by Edwin Miranda (Stamford, CT).

Dominican took a 2-0 lead as junior midfielder James Hamilton (Paisley, Scotland) scored his sixth goal of the season off the dish by Diego Barahona (Stamford, CT).

Less than a minute later, Wright struck for his second goal of the game off Miranda's second assist for a commanding 3-0 Dominican lead.

Forward Will Hansen (Tottenville, NY) netted the final goal of the game off a corner kick by senior Diego Miranda (Stamford, CT) for the final 4-0 DC victory.

With the victory the Chargers improve to 8-2-0 overall and 4-0-0 in the CACC, while the Griffins fall to 1-10-1 overall and 1-4-0 in the CACC.

Dominican is back in action on Wednesday when they host Post University in a CACC men's soccer game.  Game time is 3:30 pm at Torne Valley Sports Complex.
