Head Coach Joe Burbridge is entering his third season as Dominican College head coach. In his two seasons at the helm of the Charger softball program he has amassed a record of 69-40 and his overall record stands at 108-53. Last season he guided Dominican to their first ever CACC regular season championship and NCAA tournament appearance. The 2009 Chargers also set a school record with 39 victories.
Prior to coming to Dominican Burbridge was the head coach at Adelphi University. He compiled a record of 39-13 in his one season there, while setting a school record for wins. The Panthers won the ECC Regular Season Title with an 18-2 record and were ranked as high as 8th in the country, in addition to earning a berth in the NCAA Regional Tournament.
In addition to his coaching duties, Burbridge was named Assistant Director of the Hennessy Center in August of 2009.
Coach Burbridge is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey. He received his master's degree from Seton Hall University. He and his wife, Joann live in Suffern, NY with their daughter, Colleen Paige, who was born in 2006.

Coach Palius enters his third season on the Lady Charger staff.
He will be responsible for the strength and conditioning program of the Lady Chargers softball squad. Coach Palius holds a certificate from the World Instructor Training School and freelances as a personal trainer and in human resources/compensation consulting. Prior to that, he worked as a compensation manager for numerous companies over the last ten years.
A graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey,
Palius received his Bachelor of Arts degree in
Communications. He currently resides in Ramsey, NJ.
Coach Cross enters her first year on the Lady Charger staff.
Coach Cross comes to Dominican after a stellar four year career at NCAA Division I St. Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ. Playing both first base and catcher for the Peahens, she sported a .531 slugging percentage and .993 fielding percentage in 31 games in 2009. Cross was a three-time All-MAAC Academic team selection.
Cross spent her high school years at Nanuet High School where she was a Rockland Scholar Athlete, All-Section, Second Team All State, and All-County selections.
A 2009 graduate of St. Peter's College Cross
earned a B.A. degree in Spanish with a minor in Secondary
Education.
Personal: Daughter of Ken and Kim Philpot...has one sibling: Dawn...favorite athlete is Caitlin Lowe...favorite sports team is the New York Yankees...favorite food is pasta...hobbies include running...was the Offensive Player of the Year at Delaware Valley High School...majoring in English.
