Stefanie Carrington

Coach Carrington was hired in the spring of 2008 and enters her first year at the helm of the Lady Charger volleyball program.

Coach Carrington comes to Dominican from Haldane High School where she was the head coach for the junior varsity team, who finished the season with an 18-1 record, and the assistant coach to the varsity team who won the NYS Class D State Championship in 2007.  She also coaches for the Downstate Juniors Volleyball Club 15 and under travel team and spent the last three summers as a volleyball specialist for Camp Iroquois Springs.

Carrington spent her collegiate years at Marist College where she organized and coached an unofficial women's club volleyball program and competed on teams in the local USA Volleyball Region, GEVA.  In her senior year at Marist, she coached with the Orange County Kaepa Whoosh Volleyball Club.

A 2007 graduate of Marist College, Carrington earned a bachelor of art's degree in Economics and currently is a substitute teacher in the Haldane Central School District.  She resides in Newburgh, NY.



Assistant Coach: Natalie Griffin

Coach Griffin enters her first year on the Lady Charger staff.

Coach Griffin spent one year as a member of the State University of New York at Oneonta women's volleyball team and one year as a volunteer coach.  Most recently she was the JV Volleyball Coach at Warwick Valley High School in 2006.  Currently she is a coach with the Kaepa Whoosh Volleyball Club.

A 2001 gradute of the State University of New York at Oneonta, Griffin graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Secondary Education with a Mathematics Concentration.  She earned her MS in Instructional Technology from New York Institute of Technology in 2007.

Griffin is currently a mathematics teacher at SS Seward Institute and resides in Port Jervis, NY.
