Blauvelt, NY (2/28/08) The Dominican College women's basketball team remained in seventh place in the latest Northeast Regional Rankings as was announced by the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Committee yesterday.
The Lady Chargers are currently 20-7 overall and finished the
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) regular season with a
14-3 record. DC defeated Post University last night, 63-47.
DC earned the top spot in the CACC North Division and will take on #4 Nyack College this Saturday in the Quarter-Finals of the CACC Tournament. Game time is 2pm on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
The regional rankings will be released every Wednesday through March 5th. The top ten teams in each region are released in the regional rankings. Fellow CACC member, Holy Family University, holds the top spot in the Northeast Region and Wilmington University returns to the rankings in the tenth spot.
