LADY CHARGERS BASKETBALL TURN BACK GEORGIAN COURT UNIVERSITY
Blauvelt, NY (12/6/07) The visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers Basketball team turned back the Georgian Court University Lady Lions, 67-58 this evening in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's basketball action.
Three Dominican players finished in double figures led by senior
Dana Rotio (Garfield, NJ) with 17 points and five
assists. Junior Shalissa Burgess (Englewood,
NJ) and sophomore Adele Laskowski (Wayne,
NJ) each had 13 points in the win.
Sasha Simpson led Georgian Court with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Patricia Foley added 14 points, while Dee Varley had 13 points in the loss.
With the win, Dominican improves to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the CACC, while GCU falls to 3-4 overall and 0-2 in the CACC.
Dominican is back in action on Monday, December 17th when they
host Queens College in a non-conference game. Game time is
7pm on Coach Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
