NO. 2/3 RAMS TURN BACK WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Philadelphia, Pa. (2/9/19) The Dominican College women's basketball team dropped a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game to host, No. 2/3 Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) , 69-47, this afternoon in a game played at the Gallagher Center.

The loss drops the Lady Chargers to 10-12 overall and 8-5 in conference play, while the Rams improve to 21-1 and 12-1 in the CACC.

Junior guard Kyla Ramseur (Bloomfield, N.J.) led two Dominican players in double figures with 12 points.

Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) added 10 points and five boards, while Samantha McClutchy (Washingtownship, N.J.) had a team best eight rebounds and five points.

Senior Alpreshia Parker (Pocono Summit, Pa.) added nine points in the loss.

Jefferson was led by sophomore Caitlyn Cunningham with a career high 32 points to high light three Rams in double figures.

Dominican continues their three-game road trip as they travel to Concordia College this coming Wednesday evening.  Tip-off is slated for 5pm.
