Blauvelt, NY (7/18/05) Dominican College womens soccer coach, Phil Fluhr, has announced the Lady Chargers 2005 schedule. The Lady Chargers will face top competition this season, with games scheduled against Southern Connecticut State University and the University of New Haven.
Dominican finished 15-6-2 in 2004, winning the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament Championship and advancing to their first ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship game.
The Lady Chargers will open up the 2005 season at Southern Connecticut State University on August 30. The team will continue their four game road trip the weekend of September 2 and 3 where they will play in the Millersville University Tournament. The Lady Chargers are slated to play New York Institute of Technology and the University of New Haven in the tournament. The 2005 CACC season will begin for DC with a game against rival, Nyack College, on September 7.
DC will have their home opener on September 10 as they face off against fellow CACC member, Bloomfield College.
The top six teams in the regular season will earn a berth in the CACC Tournament.
