Philadelphia, PA (9/30/06) The Rams of Philadelphia University improved to 5-0 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) after defeating the Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-0 this afternoon.
Brianna Reinford netted the game's first ogal off the assist by Christy Bauckman at the 18:31 mark. The Rams added two more goals in the second half as Lauren Golisano scored at 74:05 off the pass by Rebecca Kennedy and Jessica Aaron later scored off the dish by Melissa McMullen for the 3-0 final.
Lady Charger keeper Valentina Sturchio (Stewartsville, NJ) had three saves in 76:24 minutes, while Rosa Centurion (Mamaroneck, NY) played the final 13:36 minutes of the game.
With the win, Philadelphia improves to 6-3-1 overall and 5-0 in the CACC, while Dominican falls to 2-8-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the CACC.
The Lady Chargers are back in action on Tuesday, October 3rd when they travel to Caldwell College in a CACC match up slated to begin at 4pm.
