MEN'S BASKETBALL RANKED NINTH IN D2SIDA EAST REGION MEDIA POLL

Orangeburg, N.Y. (12/10/18) The Dominican College men's basketball team has been ranked ninth in the latest D2SIDA East Region Media Poll as was announced by the regional committee today.

The Chargers make their first appearance in the poll this week after receiving votes in the last poll.

Dominican went 2-0 in action last week, picking up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victories over Post University and Nyack College, to improve to 5-2 on the season.

DC is the only team from the CACC to be in the rankings as Jefferson dropped out of this week's poll.  The Chargers hold an overtime victory, 90-85, over #8 University of Bridgeport and was edged by #2 St. Thomas Aquinas College, 63-61 earlier in the year.  Dominican is slated to take on the University of New Haven on January 2nd in the Hennessy Center.
