Coach Steigert enters his sixth year on the Charger staff after spending four seasons (2010-2013) as a member of the men's lacrosse team. In July of 2018, he was named the interim head coach and in July of 2019 the interim title was removed.
Coach Steigert handles all of the day-to-day operations of the program, including recuriting, practice and game plans and academic success of athletes.
He also has worked number camps, including the DC Lacrosse Clinics and the South Shore Lacrosse Camp.
A team captain in the 2012-2013 season, Steigert was a leader both on and off the field for the Chargers. He was the 2013 recipient of the Dominican College Men's Lacrosse Coach's Award.
A 2013 graduate of DC, Steigert earned a B.S. in Marketing Management. He was a four-year member of the DC Business Club.
Currently, Coach Steigert resides in Valley Cottage, N.Y. and works as a corporate specialist in Tappan, N.Y. He also is a volunteer firefighter in the Copiague Fire Department.
