GUZMAN FINISHES SIXTH AT MOUNT SAINT MARY COLLEGE CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

Newburgh, N.Y. (9/30/18) Senior Darren Guzman (Teaneck, N.J.) finished in sixth place overall at the Mount Saint Mary College Cross Country Invitational held yesterday.

The Chargers finished with a team score of 379 to take 16th place.

In the 8k race, Guzman had a 5:55 mile average to finish the course in a time of 29:23 for the sixth place finish.

Sophomore Nicholas Beutel (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) finished in 78th place overall with a time of 33:08 (6:40 average).

Lowell Pierrette (Elmsford, N.Y.) ran the course in a time of 34:24 (6:56 average) to finish in 108th place, while Rollens Florvil (Spring Valley, N.Y.) took 127th place with a time  of 35:22 (7:07 average).

Junior David Jeffers (Florida, N.Y.) finished in 175th place with a time of 38:24 (7:44 average).

Dominican will travel to the NJIT Highander Challenger next weekend.
