WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY TAKES TOP SPOT AT ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY XC FALL FESTIVAL INVITE
Queens, NY (10/18/09) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished first out of two Division II teams that competed at the St. John's University XC Fall Festival Invite held today at Cunningham Park.
Queens, NY (10/18/09) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished first out of two Division II teams that competed at the St. John's University XC Fall Festival Invite held today at Cunningham Park.
The Lady Chargers had a team score of 20, while Molloy College finished with a combined score of 35.
Freshman Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) took the individual title with a time of 17:04.43. Sophomore Samantah Klunk (York, PA) finished second overall with a time of 17:28.28.
Freshman Schae Auffant (Catskill, NY) took third place as she ran a time of 17:36.83, while sophomore Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in fourth place with a time of 17:59.69.
Teammate Mayerline Louis-Juste (Spring Valley, NY) finished tenth overall with a time of 18:36.1 and Rolanda Senior (New Rochelle, NY) ran a time of 18:49.22 to finish in 13th place.
Dominican is back in action next Saturday at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships.
