LADY CHARGERS CROSS COUNTRY FINISH THIRD AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Philadelphia, PA (10/24/09) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished third at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held today at Belmont Plateau.
Philadelphia, PA (10/24/09) The Dominican College women's cross country team finished third at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held today at Belmont Plateau.
Philadelphia University took the team title followed by Georgian Court University, Dominican College, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Wilmington University rounded out the top five. Felician College came in sixth followed by Nyack College, Holy Family University, Post University, Chestnut Hill College, Goldey-Beacom College, Bloomfield College, Concordia College and Caldwell College.
Freshman Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) was the top finisher for the Lady Chargers as she ran a time of 21:35.51 for an 8th place finish. Sophomore captain Samantha Klunk (York, PA) finished in 20th place with a time of 22:36.31, while fellow sophomore Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) finished in 24th place with a time of 22:58.66.
Schae Auffant (Catskill, NY) ran a time of 23:05.58 for a 28th place finish, while freshman Rolanda Senior (New Rochelle, NY) finished in 42nd place with a time of 24:18.03. Mayerline Louis Juste (Spring Valley, NY) finished in 55th place with a time of 25:00.76.
This was the last race of the season for the Lady Chargers.
