FALL 2025 CACC ESPORTS SEASON GETS UNDERWAY TUESDAY
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (September 22, 2025) -- The Fall 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) E Sports Season gets underway this week with three games including Rocket League, Super Smash Bros., and Marvel Rivals. Rocket League and Smash get going on Tuesday, followed by Rivals on Friday. Below is a breakdown of the games, who is playing, and what to expect for the Fall 2025 season. Each of the three games will feature a six-week regular season, followed by the postseason from Nov. 11-21. Four schools will be competing in each of the three games.
A new addition to the Fall 2025 season is the incorporation of all conference and Gamer of the Year Award for each of the three games. Nominating and voting for the awards will be conducted by each of the league's head coaches in the respective games their team competes in.
ROCKET LEAGUE
The regular season gets underway Tuesday night at 8 p.m., and will feature Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Post University and Wilmington University. The regular season concludes on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and after a week-long break, the postseason in the game begins on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 8 p.m. with the semifinals. All four teams will qualify for the postseason and seeding will be based off regular season standings. Each school will play the other three schools in a double-round robin format for a total of six matches.
The two semifinal winners will square off in the CACC Championship Final on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 8 p.m.
SUPER SMASH BROS.
The regular season gets underway Tuesday night at 9 p.m., and will feature Bloomfield College, Dominican University, Goldey-Beacom College and Post University. The regular season concludes on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and after a week-long break, the postseason in the game begins on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9 p.m. with the semifinals. All four teams will qualify for the postseason and seeding will be based off regular season standings. Each school will play the other three schools in a double-round robin format for a total of six matches.

All four teams will qualify for the postseason and seeding will be based off regular season standings. Each school will play the other three schools in a double-round robin format for a total of six matches.
