Orangeburg, NY (4/23/10)  Members of the Dominican College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), along with members of the women’s softball and women’s lacrosse teams, participated in the Keep Rockland Beautiful Program this week.  This program is designed to keep the neighborhoods of Rockland County clean of all waste. This was the second year the student-athletes, lead by SAAC, have participated in this program.

The student-athletes focused on picking up trash on campus and in the surrounding area.  The event culminated the school’s Earth Week celebration, another facet of the campus’s sustainability initiative to become more environmentally friendly.
