New Haven, Conn. (7/3/26) The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference has recognized 2,260 student-athletes on its Spring 2026 Academic Honor Roll, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. The total includes student-athletes from the conference's 11 full-time member institutions and one associate member.
Established in 2023-24, the CACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.00 or higher during a semester and are listed on the institution's official squad list for their sport. This spring's total is comprised of athletes from more than 120 teams competing in all 16 CACC championship sports, regardless of season. Each CACC student-athlete is eligible to be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll twice during each academic year.
The CACC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on three levels of achievement. Those earning perfect 4.00 GPAs were granted the Faculty Athletics Representative Award of Distinction. The President's Level was bestowed upon those achieving GPAs of 3.50 to 3.99. Student-athletes earning GPAs of 3.00 to 3.49 for the semester were honored at the Commissioner's Level. A total of 368 student-athletes earned the FAR Award of Distinction in spring 2026.
