BASEBALL REMAINS TOP TEAM IN NCAA EAST REGION

Orangeburg, NY (5/7/09) The Dominican College baseball team remained the top team in the NCAA East Region as was announced by the NCAA yesterday.

Orangeburg, NY (5/7/09)  The Dominican College baseball team remained the top team in the NCAA East Region as was announced by the NCAA yesterday.

Dominican currently has an overall record of 35-10 and is the top seed in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Tournament.  DC has held the top spot in the NCAA rankings all season and is also the top team in the NCBWA poll.

The Chargers posted a 7-1 record last week after sweeping the season series from both CACC opponents, Caldwell College and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and splitting two non-conference games with St. Thomas Aquinas College.
