Felician held a 2-0 lead when the Chargers came back with three runs in the fourth inning as Marco Moreno (Miami, FL) led off the inning with a triple to right field and Dan Robinson (Massapequa, NY) followed with a walk. Sophomore Andrew Camardella (Pelham, NY) followed with a two-run double to left field and he later scored on the RBI single down the left field line off the bat of designated hitter Dru Kayfus (Boynton Beach, FL) to put DC ahead 3-2.
The Golden Falcons re-claimed a 4-3 lead with two runs in the sixth, but Dominican answered right back with two runs to take a 5-4 lead. With two outs and two runners on base, freshman center fielder Kyle Hall (Nassau, Bahamas) delivered a two-run single down the right field line.
Felician re-tied the game, 5-5 with a run in the seventh and added three runs in their half of the tenth inning for the 8-5 victory.
Dominican had the bases loaded with two outs in the tenth, but the Golden Falcon pitcher got the DC pinch hitter to ground out to end the game.
Caleb Whiteley (Sant Antonio, TX) suffered the loss (0-1) in one inning of work, allowing three runs (two earned) on one hit. Starter Luis Vasquez (Pomona, NY) went five innings in the no decision, allowing two runs on four hits and three strikeouts.
Greg Gonzalez (Franklin Square, NY) went 1/3 of an inning, allowing two runs (one earned) on one hit and Jordan Paszek (Sussex, WI) pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing one run on six hits and collecting four strikeouts.
