BARTOLOMEI NAMED CACC PLAYER AND ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/15/16) Dominican College baseball player, Anthony Bartolomei (Oakhurst, N.J.) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 13th. This is his first Player and Rookie of the Week honors this season.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (3/15/16)  Dominican College baseball player, Anthony Bartolomei (Oakhurst, N.J.) has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 13th.  This is his first Player and Rookie of the Week honors this season.

The freshman outfielder had an outstanding week at the dish for Dominican, as the Chargers picked up three wins over Northeast-10 Conference foes.  He had a .571 batting average in four games, while recording eight hits in 14 at-bats with three doubles, one triple, five runs driven in and three runs scored. Bartolomei also posted a .600 on-base percentage and a .929 slugging percentage. In an 11-3 win over Pace, he went 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles, two RBI and a run scored.
