Pomona, N.Y. (4/30/19) The Dominican College baseball team topped the visiting Lions of Molloy College, 10-3, this afternoon in a non-conference game played at the Palisades Credit Union Park.

Molloy got two runs back in the top of the sixth inning, but the Chargers got the runs back in the bottom half of the inning on a wild pitch and RBI single off the bat of shortstop Joshua Colon (Bronx, N.Y.) to extend the lead to 8-2.

Following a lion run in the seventh, the Chargers tacked on two more runs in their at-bat on the two-run single from senior Elijah Tavarez (Valley Stream, N.Y.) for the 10-3 lead and eventual win.

Bernacet and Torres each had three hits in the win.
