DOMINICAN'S HIRSCH TABBED NCBWA DIVISION II EAST REGION HITTER OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/11/25)  Dominican University New York Kevin Hirsch has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II East Region Hitter of the Week for the Period ending Apr. 6, the NCBWA announced on Thursday. Hirsch earned similar honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference on Apr. 7.

Hirsch batted .609 and slugged 1.130 last week as Dominican went 8-0. He had five multi-hit games and produced three doubles, three home runs, 11 runs scored, and 13 runs batted in. Hirsch is hitting .373 on the year with five homers, 25 runs and 27 RBI in 26 games. His .618 slugging percentage is sixth in the CACC.

The NCAA Division II East Region is comprised of the CACC, East Coast Conference, and Northeast 10 Conference and contains 30 baseball-playing schools.
