BASEBALL PICKED 9TH IN THE NCBWA EAST REGION PRESEASON POLL

NCBWA East Region Preseason Poll

Orangeburg, N.Y. (1/27/26) The Dominican University New York baseball team was picked 9th in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) East Region Preseason Coaches Poll.

Dominican finished the 2025 season with an overall record of 37-17, and finished 10th in the final 2025 East Region Poll.  They are coming off of a 2025 season in where they more than doubled their win total from the 2024 season and took home the CACC North Division title.

The Chargers hosted #4 seed Caldwell University in the best of three opening round to the CACC Tournament where they swept the Cougars in two games.

Dominican's 2025 season came to an end in the double elimination bracket of the CACC Tournament where they fell to Wilmington University and Felician University.

The Chargers open the 2026 campaign on February 27th against Point Park University from Cary, N.C.
