GOLDEN FALCONS TAKE SEASON FINALE OVER CHARGERS

Lyndhurst, N.J. (4/28/26) The Dominican University New York baseball team dropped their season finale on the road to CACC rival Felician University this afternoon.

Starting pitcher AJ Mitchell threw 3.2 innings surrendering three runs before Josh Harrison entered the game and threw 2.1 innings and suffered the loss. 

Robert Liriano and Miguelangel Francisco each tossed one inning. 

Felician scored three runs over the first two innings of the game. 

The Chargers rallied for four unanswered runs after Fraelyn Rosario singled in the first DU run in the third inning. Pablo Guevara added an RBI-single in the fourth inning followed by an Erick Diaz sac fly and a Rosario RBI-double put the Chargers ahead 4-3.

The Golden Falcons rallied for four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to put Felician on top 7-4 and the score would remain the rest of the way. 

Byron Arias, Jason Amor, and Guevara also added a double each. Chad Falcon picked up two hits while AJ Giannetti and Davin Keddell-Tuckey each added a hit.

The Chargers wrap up the 2026 season with an overall record of 18-31 and a CACC record of 14-19.
