New Haven, Conn. (6/26/26) Fifty-one student-athletes have qualified for the 2026 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball All-Academic Team, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced earlier this week.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and be in his/her second year at his/her current institution. New for 2025-26, honorees must also either compete in at least two-thirds of their team's games or start at least half. Pitchers must either appear in at least 10 games or pitch at least 30 innings.
Post University along with CACC champion Wilmington University and finalist Goldey-Beacom College each placed eight student-athletes on the list to share the conference lead. Thirteen of the honorees maintain an undergraduate GPA of 3.80 or higher. The complete set of winners can be viewed at the link above.
Dominican University New York had two players named to the team: Erick Diaz and AJ Mitchell.
The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
