DOMINICAN TABS DiMARSICO AS WOMEN’S FLAG FOOTBALL COACH
Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/10/26) Dominican University New York Director of Athletics, Joseph S. Clinton, has announced the hiring of Anthony DiMarsico as the head coach of the women's flag football team.
"We are excited to have Anthony join the Charger community as our new women's flag football coach," said Clinton. "His passion for coaching and mentoring, along with his past experience coaching youth and high school football made him an ideal candidate to build a quality women's flag football team here at Dominican."
DiMarsico comes to Dominican following a stint as a football coach at Nyack Middle School. Prior to that, he was a coach for the 2024-2025 season at Nyack High School. DiMarsico previously served on the coaching staff at Albertus Magnus High School and North Rockland High School.
He also spent time as a baseball coach at Nyack Middle School and in the youth football and baseball organizations in Suffern. DiMarsico also served as Vice President of the Suffern Youth Football League and Vice President of North Rockland Midget Football. Currently, he is the owner and operator of Becker Corp Builders in Suffern, NY.
"I'm honored to be named head coach of the inaugural women's flag football program at Dominican University New York," said DiMarsico. "This is a unique chance to build something special from the ground up, rooted in hard work, accountability, and belief. As the sport continues to grow, we're excited to be part of that momentum. Our goal is to develop confident student-athletes who compete with passion, lead with character, and represent the Chargers with pride. We're not just starting a team—we're building a program that will empower young women for years to come."
DiMarsico earned a bachelor's degree in education from Iona University in 1988.
