CHARGERS GOLF END DAY ONE OF DOWLING SEPTEMBER SHOOTOUT IN SIXTH PLACE

Riverhead, NY (9/15/08) The Dominican College men's golf team finished day one of the Dowling College September Shootout in sixth place after they team shot a combined score of 308.

Riverhead, NY (9/15/08)  The Dominican College men's golf team finished day one of the Dowling College September Shootout in sixth place after they team shot a combined score of 308.

Sophomore Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) led the team one day one with a round of 75, while freshman Braedan May (Port Perry, Ontario) fired off a round of 77. Senior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) and freshman Corey Fitzgerald (Sherburne, NY) each shot a 78, while Brian Kivelhan (Mahwah, NJ) shot an 81 for the day one total of 308.

Adelphi University is in the lead with Nassau Community College, St. Thomas Aquinas College, Le Moyne College and Post University rounding out the top five teams.

The Chargers return to the course today for the last day of the Dowling College September Shoot out.
