DOMINICAN GOLF FINISHES IN TIE FOR FOURTH PLACE AT DOWLING COLLEGE SEPTEMBER SHOOTOUT
Riverhead, NY (9/15/08) The Chargers golf team finished the Dowling College September Shootout in a tie for fourth place with Le Moyne College after shooting a team score of 317 on the final day for a two day total of 621.
Riverhead, NY (9/15/08) The Chargers golf team finished the Dowling College September Shootout in a tie for fourth place with Le Moyne College after shooting a team score of 317 on the final day for a two day total of 621.
After posting a 304 team score on day one, the team shot a 317. Senior AJ Lee (Nanuet, NY) had a two day total of 151 (74, 77) to lead the Chargers and finish in a tie for eighth place overall.
Sophomore Thomas Lalonde (Red Hook, NY) shot rounds of 75 and 78 for a total score of 153 and finish in a tie for 13th place. Freshman Braedan May (Port Perry, ON) finished in a tie for 14th place with rounds of 77 and 79.
Sophomore Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) shot an 81 on day one and an 83 on day two for a total score of 164 and freshman Corey Fitzgerald (Sherburne, NY) finished in a tie for 61st place with a total score of 165 (78, 87) to round out the Dominican scoring.
Dominican is back in action on Wednesday at the Holy Family University Quad Match and then again this weekend at the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.
