MEN'S GOLF FINISH 13TH AT 2010 GOLDEY-BEACOM INVITE
Newark, DE (3/31/10) The Dominican College golf team finished 13th at the 2010 Goldey-Beacom Invite which was held at the Deefeld Golf Course this past Monday.
Newark, DE (3/31/10) The Dominican College golf team finished 13th at the 2010 Goldey-Beacom Invite which was held at the Deefeld Golf Course this past Monday.
St. Thomas Aquinas College took the team title (300), followed by host Goldey-Beacom College and Wilmington Univeristy, who tied for second with a 303 team score. American International College and West Chester University both finished with a 305 combined score to tie for fourth place, followed by UMASS-Lowell (313), Adelphi University (316) and Holy Family University (318). Felician College and Millersville University tied for ninth place (391), while Nyack College finished with a 320 combined score for 11th place. The setters of Pace University finished in 12th place (328), followed by Dominican College (342) and Southern New Hampshire (345).
Senior Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) was the top finisher for the Chargers with a round of 80 (+10) to finish in a nine-way tie for 34th place. Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) tied for 60th place with a round of 84 (+14), while Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) tied for 69th place with an 86 score (+16).
Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) tied for 77th place with a 92 score (+22), while Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) rounded out the scoring with a 94 score.
The golf team is back in action on Monday, when they take part in a tournament at Caldwell College.
