GOLF IN SIXTH PLACE AFTER DAY ONE OF CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Middlefield, CT (4/12/10) The Dominican College golf team is in sixth place after day one of the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships being held at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club today and tomorrow.

Host Post University is currently in the lead with a team score of 310, followed by Wilmington University with a 314, Goldey-Beacom College with a 321, Nyack College with a 332 and Holy Family University with a 339. Dominican shot a first day score of 345 to be in sixth place with Felician College following in seventh place with a score of 347, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a 350, Chestnut Hill College with a 351, Caldwell College with a 351 and Philadelpia University in 11th place with a 364 team score.
Freshmen Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) and Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) are in a five-way tie for 20th place with a first day score of an 84. Ciabattari shot rounds of 45 and 39, while Morse shot rounds 43 and 41.
Rookie Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) is currently in a eight-way tie for 28th place with rounds of 46 and 41 for a combined 87 score. Senior Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) is in three-way tie for 39th place with a combined score of 90 (45, 45) and sophomore Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) is in a two-way tie for 52nd place with a score of 98 (52, 46).
The Chargers return to the course tomorrow in the final round of the 2010 CACC Championships.
