GOLF FINISHES SEVENTH AT CACC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Middlefield, CT (4/13/10) The Dominican College golf team finished in seventh place at the 2010 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships held at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club.

As a team the Chargers shot a combined second round score of 342 to have a two-day total of 687 for the seventh place finish. Post University took home the Championship with a score of 615, followed by Wilmington University (617), Goldey-Beacom College (635), Nyack College (644), Holy Family University (661) and Felician College (685). After DC, Philadelphia University and Caldwell College finished in a tie for eighth place (708), while the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia finished in tenth place with a team score of 709 and Chestnut Hill College finished in 11th place with a 710 combined score.
Freshmen Michael Ciabattari (New Hampton, NY) and Lewis Morse (Aurora, NY) had the highest finishes for Dominican as they both placed in a five-way tie for 20th place with a two-day total of 166. Both players shot rounds of 84 and 82 for the 166 score.
Senior Brian Kivlehan (Mahwah, NJ) finished in a three-way tie for 25th place with rounds of 90 and 77 for a combined 167 score. Rookie Jeffrey Sabella (Budd Lake, NJ) had a three-way tie for a 48th place finish with a total score of 188 (87, 101). Sophomore Bryan Romagnoli (Waldwick, NJ) finished in 54th place with a 204 combined score (98, 106).
